We inspire people so that they believe they can!

About inCommunity

inCommunity have been actively supporting the people of Ipswich and surrounding areas for almost 40 years. We also provide pop-up accomodation in selected locations through Beddown. We provide a range of housing support services for young people, adults and families who are experiencing homelessness.

We believe in innovative solutions and work in partnership with other organisations for the best outcomes for our communities. We work with people to build strengths, skills, connection and resilience.

What we do

Crisis & Short Term Accommodation

inCommunity offers crisis accommodation across three programs. Hargreaves House is a shelter for young people 16-21 years, CAP provides short term accommodation for adults and families and SPin Share Housing is a transitional program for young people aged 16-25.

Mobile Support and Outreach

Mobile Support is practical, hands-on support to assist in addressing any barriers to securing or sustaining housing.

Our Mobile Support Team help to develop a plan, set goals, link in with other services and provide personalised case management.

Women's Club

A safe space for Ipswich women to connect, access support and flourish. Catch up with others, enjoy our free activities, light meals and a drink.

Dignity Food Relief

Ready-made, delicious and nutritious frozen meals you just need to heat and eat. Provided free of charge thanks to our partners Dignity and available to anyone in need.

Tenancy Skills Institute

Skillsets for Successful Tenancies is a free course designed to help you secure and keep a rental property by developing key knowledge and critical skills needed to rent successfully.

The aim of Beddown is to find innovative solutions for Australians who are homeless or sleeping rough. We take spaces that are under-utilised, vacant or empty and transform them into accommodation for the homeless. Beddown then activates and repurposes the space at night into pop-up or short-term accommodation for the homeless. We want to help ensure those who are sleeping rough are then able to access and get into a bed at night.
