Last Friday, the inCommunity team came together for our annual conference. A chance to spend time offline together, sharing knowledge between our teams, whilst challenging ourselves to continue to make good, better.
The morning focused on updates, reflections and expertise shared by our CEO Paul and Deputy CEO Nerissa, alongside inCommunity Connect Case Managers who participated in this year’s Study Tour and a Tenancy Skills Institute Masterclass.
Continuing the day’s spirit, Alison and the team from Youth Housing Project joined us for lunch and the afternoon’s keynote session—a chance to connect with like-minded colleagues in the specialist housing and homelessness sector.
In the afternoon, Joel McKerrow’s session stretched our concepts of creativity and storytelling, asking us to reflect on ‘The Stories We Live By’. Creating a safe space for us all to explore and share personal reflections, whilst learning day-to-day tools that we can use to inspire the next story for the people we engage with on their pathways to safe and stable housing.
