Over the weekend, inCommunity Connect marked 25 years since our youth crisis accommodation moved into Hargreaves House, a six-bed, purpose-built house where we deliver our 24-hour service supporting young people aged 16-21 years at risk of or experiencing homelessness in Ipswich.
What makes this milestone even more special is the four highly skilled, experienced on-site case managers who deliver our service from Hargreaves House. With a combined 55 years of experience, each team member has elected to focus their deep knowledge and expertise on delivering high-quality case management for young people.
Together, they create a stable, culturally safe and appropriate environment for young people experiencing homelessness to flourish. And after all these years, each team member remains excited and privileged to support vulnerable young people.
As Jackie, a former resident at Hargreaves House says, “the Case Managers gave me consistency and I was able to connect with each of them in different ways … I’m in such a better spot all around after being at Hargreaves House than I would be if I were still living on the streets.”
Please join us in celebrating this special milestone and our extraordinary team!
