Find out the service delivery impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

InCommunity Connect Case Managers hit the road in the first part of this year, travelling from Far North Queensland to Victoria, meeting with fellow practitioners from other community organisations for the inCommunity Connect 2024 Study Tour.

Our Case Managers rarely have the opportunity to step away from their on-the-ground work to enquire about others’ practices, so when the team came together for their Planning Day we took a moment to hear their insights and reflections in this video.

Sharing their reflections, our Case Managers highlight some of the incredible programs in place, supporting people experiencing homelessness in communities within Australia.

With thanks to the following collaborative teams for their generosity in hosting our teams and sharing details of their programs during this study tour:

Q-Home (Cairns), Anglicare’s St Margaret’s Young Womens’/Girls’ Hostel and St John’s Young Mens’/Boys’ Hostel (Cairns), Mission Australia’s Douglas House and Woree House (Cairns), Barnardos Our Place Youth Foyer (Canberra), Common Ground (Canberra), YWCA Canberra, Magistrates Court Therapeutic Recovery Centre (Ballarat), Launch Housing Education First Youth Foyer (Melbourne), Youth Mental Health Psychological Recovery Program (Ballarat).
