Find out the service delivery impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

From next Monday 27 May, you’ll notice people in blue shirts working alongside our program staff from Beddown and inCommunity Connect who support people sleeping rough.

Who are they? We’re delighted to share that it’s the One Bridge team, a health service experienced in providing medical support to people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness.

Via a new partnership funded through Beddown, people sleeping rough in Ipswich will have access to immediate health services via a registered nurse. This is huge news!!!

One Bridge is the perfect complimentary service for the work we do across our organisation supporting people sleeping rough. Whether it’s via Beddown’s Breakfast Club and soon-to-be expanded drop-in space for people sleeping rough in the heart of Ipswich. Or via the inCommunity Connect’s assertive outreach program where we work early mornings and evenings, connecting with people sleeping rough in Ipswich and surrounding areas.

So when you see the One Bridge blue shirt, be sure to say hello to their friendly team and please join us in welcoming them to Ipswich.
