This week, the Queensland Homelessness Conference is happening in Gimuy/Cairns, and our CEO Paul and Deputy CEO Nerissa are contributing to this important event.
Gleaning insights into homelessness responses from a diverse and deep pool of expertise across the state, whilst contemplating how we move forward to deliver an informed and tangible pathway to end the experience of homelessness for Queenslanders. A key focus of the PIVOT Movement launching at the conference, for which inCommunity Inc., including inCommunity Connect and the Tenancy Skills Institute, are proud to be contributing to.
Through presentations and stakeholder engagement, Paul and Nerissa have also been sharing the positive impact of collaboration between the community sector and the real estate industry in sustaining tenancies, led by the Tenancy Skills Institute. Two sectors working together to support households experiencing challenges in their tenancies to keep a roof over their head.
We are proud to be part of this important conference, held in partnership with Homelessness Queensland, bringing together key stakeholders from across the state to discuss change in addressing homelessness through prevention, partnerships, and practice.
