That’s the question the Tenancy Skills Institute posed to Australasian property managers with a combined rent roll of over 83,000 tenancies between May and July of this year. Alarmingly, their insights identified that an average of 4.84% of tenancies included in the survey are at risk of failing and vulnerable to homelessness right now.

The Tenancy Skills Institute report, entitled ‘The Next Wave of Homelessness: Tenancies At Risk of Failing in the Australasian Private Rental Market’, further unpacks the current risk of tenancies failing, the positive sentiment among property managers to participate in early intervention to sustain tenancies, and the opportunities available immediately to prevent homelessness.

We encourage you to read the report (available at this link) and, together, let’s turn the tide on the next wave of homelessness.
